Organizing Assets
As your packs grow, keeping things organized saves a lot of time.
This guide covers search, folders, tags, editing details, and moving assets in bulk.
Browsing assets in a pack
Open any pack from Visual Assets to see its asset grid.
Each tile shows:
- image preview,
- name,
- folder (if set),
- file type badge.
Searching and filtering
Use the toolbar at the top of the pack page:
- Search — find assets by name or tags
- All Folders — show all assets or only one folder
- Sort — name (A–Z / Z–A) or date (newest / oldest)
Edit one asset
To edit one asset:
- Open the asset menu (three dots)
- Click Edit metadata
- Update what you need:
- Name
- Folder / Category
- Tags
- Description
- Move to Pack (optional)
- Click Save
Move one asset to another pack
You can move a single asset to another pack from the same edit form.
Good to know:
- You can only move between the same kind of packs (illustration → illustration, icon → icon)
- The current folder/category is kept after the move
- Moving an asset does not count as a new upload against your quota
Use folders (categories)
Folders help you group related assets inside a pack.
How folders work:
- A folder is created automatically the first time you type it
- Folders appear in the filter dropdown
- Empty folders disappear automatically
Examples: Backgrounds, Characters, Logos, Icons, Borders
