Visual Assets
Introduction to Visual Assets
Understand how asset packs work in I Love Cards and how to use them in your deck and template workflow.
Visual assets are the illustrations, icons, and images you use on your cards.
In I Love Cards, assets are organized into packs so you can stay organized and reuse your visuals quickly.
What is an asset pack?
An asset pack is a collection of related visuals.
You can create packs for different needs, for example:
- one pack for your branding,
- one pack for a specific client,
- one pack per deck project.
There are two pack types:
- Illustration packs
- Icon packs
Public packs and private packs
Public packs
Public packs are provided by the platform.
- Free packs: available to all creators (including CNVS packs)
- Premium packs: available with a premium plan
Private packs
Private packs are your own packs.
You can:
- upload your own files,
- organize them with folders and tags,
- reuse them across all your decks and templates.
Private packs are only visible to you.
How it fits your workflow
Typical flow:
- Create or browse packs in Visual Assets
- Upload assets to your private packs
- Use Browse Packs inside deck/template image fields
- Reuse the same visuals across projects
You can also upload directly from editor image fields and save AI-generated images into your packs.
Storage quota
Private uploads use your storage quota.
Default quota is 100 MB.
You can monitor usage from the Visual Assets toolbar.
See Storage Quotas for details.
